Civil Rights Complaint Procedure
A person who believes she/he has been excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, subjected to discrimination under, or denied any training, education or employment because of ethnicity, race, color, creed, sex, age, veteran status, disability, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religion or on any other basis that would be in violation of applicable Federal, state, or local law, or has been retaliated against for engaging in protected activity can file a complaint with the KCSDV Executive Director in person, through email, or by mail.
All inquiries and complaints must be in writing and should be addressed to the KCSDV Executive Director, who is the organization’s Civil Rights Liaison. Complaints about the KCSDV Executive Director may be addressed to the President of the Board of Directors.
The KCSDV Executive Director will notify such person of her/his right to file a complaint with any of the following state or federal agencies:

When notified that a person believes she/he has been discriminated against and wishes to file a complaint, the KCSDV Executive Director will notify such person that if she/he wishes to file a complaint with KHRC, EEOC or OCR, that complaint must be filed within the time frames set forth by those agencies as can be found at the links below:
