  • More effectively advocate for survivors seeking protection orders;
  • Respond to requests for protection orders;
  • Identify legislative updates to protection orders in Kansas;
  • Understand how these updates change the protection order process;
  • Consider promising practices in the protection order process and domestic/sexual violence advocacy;
  • Identify common misconceptions surrounding protection orders and demonstrate effective techniques for combatting them
