Applying Trauma-Informed Practices to Working with Victims of Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence: An Advanced Skill-Building Course for Professionals

AUDIENCE: Allies and professionals working with sexual assault and domestic violence victims, such as Social Workers, Homeless Shelter Staff, Mental Health Providers, Department of Corrections Staff, Law Enforcement, etc.

This advanced 2-day skills-based course will provide professionals working with sexual assault and domestic violence survivors an opportunity to increase their knowledge and skills in providing trauma-informed services. Attendees will participate in small-group activities, role plays, group discussions, and other hands-on activities to apply the skills learned throughout the course.
