AUDIENCE: KCSDV member program advocates and staff only.
This course is intended to be an introductory course for domestic violence and sexual assault advocates who are new to the field. Advocates who have not attended a Domestic Violence Advocacy Course and/or Sexual Assault Advocacy Course within the past 5 years are encouraged to attend.
THIS TRAINING CONSISTS OF 2 PARTS. PART 1 MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE ATTENDING PART 2.
Part 1: Online Training Modules - You must be logged in as a KCSDV advocate to access.

Lunch is on your own. We will not be able to offer snacks or refreshments during the training so please bring any food items you will need to be comfortable. Certificates of attendance for 28 hours will be provided to each attendee for the in-person training. Participants will be responsible for submitting the documentation necessary for any continuing education credit that may be available for the content of this course.
