National Domestic Violence Hotline

The National Domestic Violence Hotline links individuals to help in their area using a nationwide database that includes detailed information on domestic violence shelters, other emergency shelters, legal advocacy and assistance programs, and social service programs. The Hotline may be reached toll-free by phone from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. One call to the Hotline summons immediate help, in English or Spanish, 24 hours a day, seven days each week, with interpreters available to translate an additional 139 languages.
National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV)
News and information for advocates; the national perspective on legislation and public policy; advocates on the news; training, conference and employment opportunities; and other important issues for domestic violence advocates, policy makers, and others who encounter domestic violence in their work.
National Coalition Against Domestic Violence
NCADV is dedicated to the empowerment of battered women and their children and therefore is committed to the elimination of personal and societal violence in the lives of battered women and their children.

Family Violence Prevention Fund
The FVPF is a national non-profit organization committed to mobilizing concerned individuals, allied professionals, women's rights, civil rights, and other social justice organizations, and children's groups to join the campaign through public education/prevention campaigns, public policy reform, model training, advocacy programs, and organizing.
Department of Justice Violence Against Women Office
The Violence Against Women Office works with victim advocates and law enforcement in developing grant programs that support a wide range of services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking, including: advocacy, emergency shelter, law enforcement protection, and legal aid.
National Sexual Violence Resource Center
The NSVRC is a project of the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape. This site provides a state-of-the-art database, toll-free information line, interface to a library database, technical assistance personnel and a searchable website. PCAR offers a Sexual Assault Response Team plan and newsletter.
Stalking Resource Center
The Stalking Resource Center is a program of the National Center for Victims of Crime. A continually growing resource for practitioners and victims, the Stalking Resource Center website provides diverse resources, including fact sheets on federal statutes, an annotated stalking bibliography, summaries of state stalking laws, a guide to online resources, statistical overviews, practitioner profiles, and more.
