This webinar will share adapted mentoring strategies that can be applied to serving children and youth within domestic violence advocacy programs. Participants will explore best practices and activities that have been proven successful in the Empowered Families Kansas Advocacy Mentorship project.  This session will provide participants with resources and tools for positive relationship development with children and youth exposed to domestic violence.

As a result of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the positive impact of a mentoring relationship for children and youth exposed to domestic violence.
  • Identify evidence based mentoring resources that can be utilized in domestic violence advocacy programs.
  • Apply mentoring practices in an advocacy setting.
