Thank you to everyone who joined the efforts during this challenging year to end domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence. Victims advocacy services are still available at no cost to victims across the state – 24/7/365. Since mid-March, KCSDV, like others across the state, the nation, and the world, has been deep into the work of responding and adapting to the COVID-19 pandemic.

KCSDV provides information about Domestic Violence Awareness Month, available protection order resources, the impact of KCSDV’s Disabilities Project, KCSDV coalition member program The Willow Domestic Violence Center’s new capital campaign Growing Forward to help with opening a new, second shelter, and how men as victims and survivors are impacted by sexual violence overall.

KCSDV continues to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic, making changes and adjustments as needed. KCSDV has developed resources, hosted training, and provided technical assistance to meet the ongoing needs for victim services during the pandemic.
