Training Description

96% of domestic violence survivors report experiencing some form of financial abuse. As a result, survivors face serious challenges and struggles.  To help address the needs of survivors and build resources available to advocates, this five-module curriculum was created to help survivors move from short-term safety to long-term security.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Address financial safety planning
  • Create realistic budgets
  • Demystify credit
  • Better understand loans and long-term planning.
