Training Description: 

This training will provide advocates with an overview of the protection order process. Participants will have an opportunity to analyze protection order scenarios.

Objectives:

  • More effectively advocate for survivors seeking protection orders
  • Gain a deeper understanding of the impact of trauma on victims
  • Understand how to help victims navigate the protection order system
  • Help survivors create safety plans in relation to the protection order process
