Join the KCSDV Legal Assistance for Victims (LAV) staff and a panel of attorneys and advocates for a discussion of best practices, tips, and methods for working together to ensure effective legal representation. This training will include a discussion of appropriate communications between all parties involved, privileges, and conflicts.

  • Learn about advocate confidentiality and attorney-client confidentiality
  • Learn ways advocates and attorneys can increase the effectiveness of legal representation of a survivor
  • Learn examples of best practices for working together to improve the legal outcome for the survivor
