This course is intended to be an introductory course for domestic violence and sexual assault advocates who are new to the field. Advocates who have not attended a Domestic Violence Advocacy Course and/or Sexual Assault Advocacy Course within the past 5 years are encouraged to attend.

THIS TRAINING CONSISTS OF 2 PARTS.  PART 1 MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE ATTENDING PART 2.

PART 1:

You are encouraged to begin the online modules as soon as possible to allow ample time to complete Part 1 prior to attending the in-person training.

– Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. on Day 1
March 26:  8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
March 27:  8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Lunch is on your own each day. 
Note: KCSDV is not able to offer snacks or refreshments during the training.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their own snacks or refreshments needed to be comfortable.

Total Training Hours: Certificates of attendance for 20 hours will be provided to each attendee for the in-person training.  Participants are responsible for submitting any documentation necessary for continuing education credit that may be available for the content of this course.
