From ACEs to Promoting Positive Experiences: Training for Home Visitors

Training Description:

In this virtual session, trainer Rebecca Levenson will guide attendees through the impact of ACEs on health and introduce new frameworks for mitigating harm. Attendees will learn more about the Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences (HOPE) framework and how it can be used by home visitors in their work with parents and children.

Learning Objectives:

As a result of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Name 3 ways Adverse Childhood Experiences Study (ACEs) can impact health
  • Name how to implement Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences (HOPE) framework to mitigate the harms of ACEs
  • Name how the evidence-based CUES intervention can be used to address IPV/ACEs in a HOPEFUL frame
