Training Description:

In this virtual session, trainer Rebecca Levenson will describe how intimate partner violence can affect maternal health and pregnancy. Attendees will become familiar with new strategies for addressing IPV with patients.

Learning Objectives:

As a result of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Define intimate partner violence (IPV) in the context of maternal impacts
  • Explain and implement new strategies to address the limits of disclosure-driven practices for IPV
  • Name the 4 steps to the evidenced based CUES intervention used to address IPV
