Description: The KCSDV Protection Order Project is excited to create a space for Kansas law enforcement to discuss protection orders through this 4-part roundtable series. 

We welcome Dung Kimble and Sgt. Paul Kimble to discuss the benefits of advocate and law enforcement collaboration when working with victims seeking protection orders. 

Participants will:

  • Identify skills that encourage collaboration between advocates and law enforcement agencies.
  • Utilize trauma-informed language when engaging with community partners and victims.
  • Explore how to deliver services for successful enforcement of protection orders.

Sgt. Paul Kimble
Wichita Police Department

Sgt. Paul Kimble is a 27-year veteran of the Wichita Police Department. Since 2014, he has specialized as a domestic violence and sexual assault investigations trainer, including providing innovative courses on trauma-informed interviewing, through the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center.

Dung Kimble
StepStone Program Director

Dung Kimble is a Licensed Master Level Social Worker who is currently the Program Director at StepStone, a KCSDV member program in Sedgwick County that provides transitional housing and supportive services for survivors of domestic violence.
