Incarceration facilities can be daunting for survivors and advocates. Understanding incarcerated survivors’ rights will help give you the confidence to navigate the PREA system. Following this presentation, participants will be better able to:
- Explain the basics of PREA and how advocates can use PREA standards to help serve incarcerated survivors.
- Discuss advocate confidentiality when working with incarcerated survivors.
