Plain language allows an audience to more easily read, understand, and use a communication. Plain language improves accessibility for survivors and ensures effective communication for advocacy programs. This webinar will cover the importance of plain language and examine how using the Plain Language Guidelines improves services for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
As a result of this webinar, participants will be better able to:
- Recognize the importance of plain language.
- Identify how not using plain language increases barriers.
- Apply the Plain Language Guidelines to improve services.
