Empowered Families Kansas Child Welfare Project 4-Part Webinar Series

Join the Empowered Families Kansas Child Welfare Project for a 4- part webinar series in 2020! The first webinar in January will focus on safety planning with survivors of domestic violence and their children. February’s webinar will focus on understanding and responding to Teen Dating Violence, and in March the focus will be promoting the parent/child bond between survivors and their children. In May, participants will learn strategies to work with batterers involved in the child welfare system. Learning objectives and registration links for each webinar are below. The Domestic Violence Manual for Child Welfare Professionals will be utilized as a training tool during each webinar. A PDF of the manual will be provided to participants at each webinar. Hard copies are also available by request. Email Kristina Scott, Child Welfare Project Coordinator, at kscott@kcsdv.org to request your copy prior to any of the webinars.
